Madison Historical Society PROJECT session: “Why and when the first blacks came to Madison, what did they do and how they developed into business owners who were an asset to the entire community. This would be followed by 4 to 6 older local black residents who would discuss informally their
recollections of Madison's past. The program would conclude with questions and comments.  Students will count MHS entrepreneur interview as one of the 3 required for final paper.
